Happy Friday Glams!! Let me dub today our “Fit Friday!” There we go, it’s officially done and on the national calendar. Lol
I have to say there have been several times when a gym wasn’t available for me; or tiime just seemed to be too short to follow a DVD, and let’s not mention the inconsistency of hotel gyms. Just the thought makes the side eye activate ugh. I never thought to use my body as my equipment. It never surfaced until recently. I have been learning exercises that can be done with just me. I want to show you what you can do with just YOU!
What You’ll Need
You’ll need some space, and possibly a mat or towel. Well and of course, YOU!
I have four simple exercises to introduce today that will work the entire body. The important thing to remember is form. We will complete a circuit of squats, planks, push-ups, and side swipes targeting and cross targeting several muscles in the body.
Should be performed with your feet planted to the ground and press through your heels. Knees should never go over the toes. The legs should sit at a 90 degree angle when you’re in the squat. When you come up salute the butt and squeeze. This works thighs, the butt and increase the heart very well.
Keeping the back straight. The full body should be level while holding the belly in. Think pressing the belly to your back. Rest on your arms and breathe. The body may shake a bit, the mean the muscles are engaged. This works the core(ab area).
Think military precise form. The arms should fully extend up and down, with a similar form as the plank. The butt should not come up. Lead the movement with your arms not your head. Bear your weight on your palms. The wrist should sit straight at a 90 degree angle.
Starting in a sit-up position. Pull and keep feet as close as you can to your lower butt cheeks. Reach for the ankle on the side of the hand your using. If you can go past the ankle go for it. Keep the shoulders off of the floor. The cores should burn.
Ok so your gym gear is on, so let’s have at it! (A full clip of each ciricut is below.)

Until next time Glams…
