Happy Monday Glams. I hope you are having a fantastic day. As I was looking through my closet I described a potential outfit to Hubby. When I got to the shoes, I wasn’t sure if I should call them pump or Stiletto, so I called them heels (of course…lol).
But there is a difference between the two. After watching a YouTuber, PhillyDiva, she gave me the understanding of Stiletto versus Pumps.
Here is a Stiletto

It’s named after the Stiletto knife, which is why the heel is high(long) and thin. It narrows as the heel goes down. They are usually three inches or higher.
Pumps, on the other hand…

have a fuller heel, it’s not as thin and are no more than three inches.
For many who are starting off with heels, pumps are best. As you become more comfortable, Stilettos. Take advantage of the many shoe supports like inserts, heel pads, ball of foot pads, and so many more. These supports helps to make the heel suitable for longer wear.
