Snacks To Go

Once the weather heats up so does our schedule usually. Unfortunately our waistline ends up in limbo. How to prevent that? Planning is always good, everything can’t be planned. Keep these items on hand at home and in your purse when possible.

I read Redbook Magazine, this months edition, here are a few suggestions.

Lean Turkey Slices and Pickles: Wrap 4oz around 4 pickle spears. A yummy crisp delight.
Light String Cheese and Almonds: Protein joy a sure way to curb any craving. (Weight Watchers and unsalted nuts)
Cinnamon-Apple Cottage Cheese: Mix 1/2cup of plain fat-free cottage cheese, sprinkle cinnamon, a drop of vanilla extract and a chopped apple. Sweet protein start. This could also be a great breakfast choice.

Try these great meal ideas. They will surely be used in my home! The best thing they are all under 200 calories. Nibble on my fellow Glams.
